Ingleside is the walkable, village-scale neighborhood just north of Vineville, built up around the small commercial strip along Ingleside Avenue where a hardware store, a diner and a handful of independent shops have anchored the corner for generations. The residential streets fanning out from the village center are lined with 1920s and 30s bungalows and Craftsman cottages on modest lots, developed not long after Wesleyan College's original campus stood nearby before the college relocated further north on Forsyth Road.
