College Street runs along the neighborhood's edge past Coleman Hill Park, where a hilltop overlook gives a genuine view out across the Ocmulgee River valley toward downtown. Coleman Hill Park's overlook sits at the neighborhood's northern edge, and the terrain slopes noticeably as you move toward the river, a genuine reminder that Bealls Hill sits right where Macon's Fall Line hills begin to drop toward the Ocmulgee. Because so many lots here have no real driveway, we place a fair number of containers curbside, and lead-paint-era plaster and old heart-pine flooring are common in what comes out of these houses.

On private property — a driveway, a yard, a job site — you will not normally need a permit anywhere in Macon-Bibb County, and that covers the large majority of our Bealls Hill deliveries. What matters far more is whether the surface can take the weight and whether the truck can physically get in.
